Determining the amount of free disk space available
If you are using Windows
1.
Double-click the My Computer icon.
2.
Right-click the hard disk icon.
3.
Select Properties.
4.
Read and jot down the number for the amount of Free Space on the
disk.
If you are using Macintosh
1.
On the desktop, click the Macintosh HD icon.
2.
From the File menu, select Get Info., then select General
Information from the flyout.
3.
Read and jot down the number for the amount of Available disk
space.
