10 WHAT TO DO IF THE REFRIGERATOR DOES NOT WORK

Problem
The refrigerator/freezer does not
work. The temperature in the
refrigerator/freezer is too high.
The refrigerator/freezer cools
excessively.
The part of the metal frame
around the refrigerator is hot
There is an unpleasant smell in the
refrigerator
Frost has formed on the inside
walls.
Condensation has formed on the
inside walls.
The refrigerator does not stop
The courtesy light does not switch
on
The refrigerator is noisy
Possible cause(s)
The power cable plug has not been properly plugged
into an electrical socket.
The temperature control has not been set correctly.
The refrigerator is positioned next to a heat source
or is exposed to direct sunlight.
There is not enough space between the refrigerator
and the sides/back.
The refrigerator is too full. Food blocks the
ventilation openings.
The temperature control has not been set correctly.
The refrigerator is equipped with thermally
insulated pipes on the front frame that prevent
condensation from forming on the door seal when
the drawer is closed

Solution
Plug the power cable in properly.
Set a lower temperature.
Make sure that the refrigerator is positioned away
from direct sunlight and any heat sources
Make sure that there is at least 2 cm of space
between the back and side walls of the cabinet
Do not overfill the refrigerator. Make sure that food
does not obstruct the ventilation openings
Set a higher temperature
In order to prevent condensation from forming, the
refrigerator is equipped with insulated pipes on the
front frame. This does not mean that there is a
problem or fault in the system
Clean the refrigerator and remove any spoilt food.
Wrap food that has a strong smell in film.
Make sure that food does not prevent the drawer
from being properly closed. Clean the drawer seal
Make sure that food does not obstruct the
ventilation openings
Remove the humidity and do not open the drawer
for a long period of time.
Wrap the food in film.
Check that the drawers close tightly
Disconnect the power cable. Wait for a minute and
then reconnect it. Try switching the unit on again.

Check that the refrigerator sits flat and is not in
direct contact with any object that might cause
vibrations
