ASM 7.0 FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
is required. Please follow the procedure to perform a post-installation for hardware sensors reading in
Linux.
a. Insert ASM 7.0 CDROM
b. Login as root
c. Copy lmsensor file
# mount /mnt/cdrom
# cp /mnt/cdrom/ism/Software/linux/lmsensors.tar.gz /usr/src
NOTE: For ASM 7.0 build
/mnt/cdrom/ism/Software/linux/32bit/server/lm85
d. Install lmsensor file
# cd /usr/src
# tar –zxvf lmsensors.tar.gz
# cd msensors
# ./install.sh
When finished, sensors-detect will configure the lm85 sensors to /etc/lm85.conf and /etc/rc*.
10. I've successfully installed ASM 7.0 Windows Agent on Altos G530. But, all the sensors information in ASM
7.0, such as fans, temperatures or voltages, are all zero. I replaced the main-board, but the problem is still.
ANSWER: During the installation of ASM 7 Agent of Windows, if users click "No" when installing SMBus
driver, then this problem might occur.
