    Using Your Notebook Computer Connecting a Power Source Use your notebook only with the supplied AC adapter. To disconnect your notebook completely from mains voltage, unplug the AC adapter.     Notes on Use Adding Memory To install a memory module Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices, such as your printer. Unplug your computer and remove the battery pack(s). Wait until the computer cools down. Then turn your computer upside down and open the cover on the bottom by unscrewing the screw.
