Focusing manually

You can gain better results by manually adjusting
the focus in the following cases:
•The autofocus mode is not effective when
shooting:
– subjects through glass coated with water
droplets.
– horizontal stripes.
– subjects with little contrast with backgrounds
such as walls and sky.
•When you want to change the focus from a
subject in the foreground to a subject in the
background.
•Shooting a stationary subject when using a
tripod.
(1) Set FOCUS to MANUAL in CAMERA or
MEMORY (DCR-TRV325E/TRV330E/
TRV430E/TRV530E only) mode. The 9
indicator appears on the screen.
(2) Turn the focus ring to sharpen focus.

To return to the autofocus mode
Set FOCUS to AUTO.

scherpstellen
In de volgende gevallen kunt u betere
opnameresultaten bereiken door handmatig
scherp te stellen:
•Wanneer de autofocus niet goed werkt, bij het
opnemen van:
– onderwerpen achter matglas of beslagen
vensterglas.
– onderwerpen met horizontale strepen.
– sonderwerpen met weinig tekening of
contrast – een wand, de lucht, enz.
•Wanneer u de scherpstelling wilt veranderen
van een onderwerp op de voorgrond naar een
onderwerp op de achtergrond.
•Voor het opnemen van een stilstaand
onderwerp, met de camcorder op een statief.
(1) Zet de camcorder in de "CAMERA" stand (of
de "MEMORY" stand, alleen voor de DCR-
TRV325E/TRV330E/TRV430E/TRV530E) en
zet de FOCUS schakelaar in de "MANUAL"
stand voor handbediening. De 9 aanduiding
verschijnt op het scherm.
(2) Draai aan de scherpstelring tot u uw
onderwerp scherp in beeld hebt.

Terugkeren naar de automatische
scherpstelling
Zet de FOCUS schakelaar in de "AUTO" stand.
