Site survey:

1. Carry out a survey of the area where the Sealed Building will be located, and check
for any overhead/underground cables. It's important that this is carried out to avoid
ground anchors penetrating underground services, and the Sealed Building coming
into contact with overhead cables when inflated.
2. You should provide an adequate power supply to the fan, this should adhere to
your local power regulations.

  • Page 2 Position the folded Sealed Building in the desired place and direction. Unroll and unfold. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL FIND THE INFLATION/DEFLATION VALVES INSIDE THE UNIT, ON THE LOWER PARTS OF THE CORNER COLUMNS, WHICH ARE ONLY ACCESIBLE THROUGH THE DOORS.
  • Page 3 The location of the 3 inflation/deflation valves and the overpressure valve is seen below: Fig. 1a Fig. 1b VELCRO CONNECTION POINTS – OVERPRESSURE VALVE – INFLATION/DEFLATION VALVES The Overpressure Valve is a safety feature, to protect the sealed structure from overinflating. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU WISH TO INSTALL THE SOLAR PANELS, YOU HAVE TO DO IT BEFORE INFLATING THE UNIT.
  • Page 4 If ballast weights are being used, you can then mark the positions for the upper anchors, they should be positioned the correct distance away from the Sealed Building, so that the angle of the webbing straps from the upper anchors to the ground is approximately 30° to 45°. (Fig. 5) Once the ground anchors have been installed, connect the ropes to each of the high-level anchor points on the Sealed Building and to its corresponding ground anchors.
  • Page 5 While deflating, grab the ground sheet, and pull the leg with the used valve as close to the door as you can. It will be easier to locate the valve next time you wish to inflate the Sealed Building. Page 5 of 5...
