Introducing the ELURA40 MC

10× Optical Zoom
(200× Digital Zoom)
This zoom range will more than take care
of all your picture-taking needs, from
wide-angle shots to close-ups at full
telephoto (7× optical zoom and 30×
digital zoom when using a memory card).
Image Stabilizer
Corrects camcorder shake
so even hand-held shots at
full telephoto are smooth
and steady.
Night Mode
Allows you to record bright colorful
images even in dark places. The
camcorder automatically adjusts to the
optimum shutter speed based on the
brightness of the subject.
Still Images
You can record still images
like photographs only by
pressing the photo button.
Memory Card
You can record still images and movies
onto a SD Memory Card or
MultiMediaCard. Still images from the
memory can be combined with other
recordings. The memory card also
enables easy transfer of still
images/movies to a PC. Use the supplied
software to edit or attach still
images/movies to your e-mail.
XGA-Size Still Images
High-definition, XGA-size still images
through processing with a 680,000 pixels
CCD.
Panoramic Images
You can merge separate images into one
large panoramic scene using the supplied
software (PhotoStitch) on a PC.
USB Terminal
Allows high-speed transfer of memory
card data to a PC with a built-in USB
port. You can organize and edit still
images/movies on your PC using the
supplied software.
IEEE 1394 DV Terminal
The DV terminal allows
high-quality transfer with
virtually no deterioration
in quality of images. You
can edit and process
images by connecting the
camcorder to a PC with the IEEE 1394
terminal.
Analog Line-in Recording
An analog video signal from a television,
VCR, or another camcorder can be sent
into the camcorder to record images
digitally onto a Mini DV cassette.
Audio Dubbing/AV insert
Digital Effects
Show your creativity by
using the special effects
and digital faders. These
digital effects and faders
can add visual appeal and
greater imaging variety. The multi-image
screen captures moving subjects in 4, 9 or
16 sequences of still images with the
Image Capture feature and displays them
at one time.
