Removing a Slot Cover

You remove a slot cover when you install an add-in card that occupies a
previously-empty slot.

Locate the slot of the cover you want to remove.

Remove the left side panel (see
page 24).

Lay the system on its side with the open side facing up.

Carefully remove the screw from the slot cover.

Carefully remove the loose slot cover and retain it for future use.
