11. Place the end of the plastic loop over the end of the stub so it stays
in place.
12. Close the ADF cover and press down on it slightly until you hear
it lock in place, and lower the document feeder tray.
13. Connect the power cord of the fax unit at the power source.
Refilling the Stamp Ink Compartment (option)
Follow this procedure to refill the stamp ink compartment if you are
using the optional stamp feature.

1. Disconnect the power cord of the fax unit from its power source.
2. Follow steps 6 to 8 on pages 15-30 and 15-31 to open the ADF
cover up to the full open position.
