Valve - Assembly / Disassembly Tool Set
INDENTED USE
The tool set is designed for pressing down of the valve springs and for loading of the cylinder with
compressed air, thus enabling a renewing of valve stem seals without disassembly of the cylinder
head.
SAFETY ADVICE
•
Be careful when working on hot engines – risk of burn!
•
Be careful when working on running engines. Loose clothes, tools and other things can be caught
up in revolving parts which may lead to serious injuries.
•
Remove the ignition key before repair so that the engine will not start unintentionally.
•
This manual is just brief information and will not replace a workshop manual. Always
consult specific service literature for information about torques, assemblies and disassemblies
etc.
•
When working with this tool always wear safety gloves and safety glasses
•
This tool is designed for removing valve springs. Use the tool only for those purposes. Other
inappropriate use may result in damage to the tool.

- Page 2 OPERATION Mount the lever (1) in the slot of the valve spring adapter (2) and secure it with the safety bolt (3). Note: There are several holes in both the levers as well as in the valve spring adapter, they determine the proper location of the adapter on the valve.
