  • Page 2 Why clean the air vents? Neglecting to clean the air vents results in soil build up in and around the motor cooling ribs. Reduced air flow creates excess heat buildup, leading to motor failure.
  • Page 3 Place TRIO on work bench.
  • Page 4 Disconnect power supply.
  • Page 5 1.) Depress Foot pedal & move lower handle assembly to run position. 2.) Remove the side cover screws.
  • Page 6 Remove side cover and vacuum thoroughly.
  • Page 7 Remove the 3 diverter cone nuts.
  • Page 8 Remove the cone and wipe clean.
  • Page 9 Vacuum area behind the cone, be sure vacuum motor fan blades.
  • Page 10 When replacing the diverter note placement of the small indent.
  • Page 11 Vacuum inside of side cover assembly. Remove all loose soil.
  • Page 12 Vacuum the side cover vent openings.
  • Page 13 Replace side cover assembly.
