Troubleshooting

Problem

Cause
Interrupted power or switched off
power source.
Disconnected/faulty meter cable.
Defective power cord.
Defective motor.
Defective controller.
Blocked meter.
Bad programming.
By-pass valve is open.
No salt in the brine tank.
Plugged injector and/or filter.
Insufficient water flowing into
brine tank.
Hot water tank hardness.
Leak at the distributor hose.
Internal valve leak.
Blocked meter.
Disconnected/faulty meter cable.
Bad programming.
Improper brine refill setting.
Too much water in the brine tank. See problem below: Too much
Bad programming.
Iron deposit in the valve inlet.

Solution
Restore the controller and
connect to constant power source.
Check connections in the power
head and on the meter cover.
Change the cable.
Replace cord.
Change motor.
Change controller.
Clean or change meter.
Program correctly.
Close by-pass valve.
Add salt in the brine tank and
keep salt level above water level.
Clean or replace injector and/or
filter.
Check brine tank filling time and
clean flow regulator.
Repeated flushing of the hot water
tank.
Ensure the distributor tube has no
cracks. Check the o-ring.
Change seals & spacers and/or
piston assembly.
Clean or change meter.
Check connections in the power
head and on the meter cover.
Change the cable.
Program correctly.
Check use of salt and setting of
brine refill.
water in the brine tank.
Program correctly.
Clean the inlet.
Clean the valve and resin.
Remove piston and clean the
valve.
