2. FRONT AND REAR PANELS AND REMOTE CONTROL

2.1. FRONT PANEL

Alpha-Numeric Buttons (1-16, 0, *, #)
Selects the corresponding camera during normal operation and is used for text entry for menus and setup.

PAGE Button
When viewing the four camera split window, pressing this button toggles to the next split window display page.

CALL Button
Press this button to switch to or return from full screen display of the focus camera in main screen display. In
some dialogs, this button is used as a miscellaneous function key.

MODE Button
Toggles between live and playback modes for the main screen display. During Playback, this button is used as
"Slow Backward".

(Vol/Zoom) +/- Buttons ( / )
Volume control for the main audio output, during PTZ control, use to zoom in/out the selected camera.

(Split Windows) +/- Buttons ( )
Next/Previous group of cameras during split window display. Within menus, use to change the contents of the
current selection.
7.
ENTER Button
Press to selection current item within menus, during PTZ control; use to start/stop the selected PTZ mode.

MENU/ESC Button
Displays or exits the main menu during normal operation. During playback, press to take a snapshot of the
current display.

Up/BS Button (
/BS)
Press this button to move the cursor or focus window in most circumstances. In PTZ control, press this button to tilt
up the camera. In text editing mode, this button is used as "backspace" key.
10. PTZ Button
In main screen display, press this button to enter/exit PTZ control if the focus camera is a PTZ camera.
11. Left/Right Buttons (◄,►)
Press either button to move the focus window or cursor. When using PTZ control, press either of these buttons to
pan the camera. In playback mode, press either button for fast forward/reverse.
12. LEDs
Indicators for POWER, HDD(Hard Disk Drive) and Network access.
13. Jog/Shuttle
Used for left/right, up/down, Fast-Forward playback, Fast-Backward playback, and Single-Step playback.
