To record your own outgoing
message
When you have selected what
type of outgoing message you
want:
Press the Menu options button.
Menu
Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Voice Mail .
Press the OK options button.
OK
Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Announcements .
Press the OK options button.
OK
Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Rec Announce – callers can
leave a message.
Or
Rec Anc Only – callers cannot
leave a message.
Press the OK options button.
OK
Put the handset to your ear
and after the beep, speak your
outgoing message or
announcement. The display
will show
Recording .
Press the End options button
End
to stop recording.
Your recording is played back.
To cancel recording, press the
RED PHONE button or the
Return options button.

Note
The maximum outgoing message
length is 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
If you pause during recording for
longer than 2 seconds, recording is
stopped.
Note
If the answering machine memory
becomes full, it automatically switches
off or to
Announcement Only if you
have recorded an Announcement
message.
Remember to delete messages regularly.
To play back your outgoing
message
Press the Menu options button.

Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Voice Mail .
Press the OK options button.

button until the display shows
Announcements .
Press the OK options button.

Play Announce to hear your
