The appliance surfaces can become very hot during operation.

Hold the lid and the cooking insert only by the handles provided
when you want to remove them.
After use, the surfaces of the heating elements will still have some

residual heat.
Use the appliance only on a stable, non-slippery and level surface.

Allow the appliance and accessories to cool completely before

cleaning and storing them.
Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Risk of injury if

appliance is misused!
CAUTION! Hot steam escapes from the steam outlet in the
lid and when you open the lid! Risk of scalding! Always
open the lid by lifting it by the handle and moving it to the
side. Avoid any contact between the escaping steam and your
hand and arm. Do not remove the cooking insert until the steam
has completely dissipated.
