1. Shade assembly: Line up the velcros of top and
bottom metal frames along side velcros of shade
fabric, then roll the metal frames up to let the
velcros connect tightly. This is easier with 2
people. If you are alone, do this slowly and
carefully.
2. Place the shade onto the socket and screw on
socket ring to secure the shade.
3. Install the bulb (Not Included) by screwing it into
the socket. Refer to the label on the lamp socket
for maximum wattage information. NOTE: It is
easiest to assemble the bulb at this step, so that
you can reach in from the top of the shade.
4. Screw pole #2 onto pole #1.
5. Install pole #6 into base with washer #1, #2 and #3
then fix using screw nut.
6. Insert pole #5 into pole #6 and use screws to
secure the poles together.
7. Screw connecting rod onto pole #2.
8. Place connecting rod through pole #3 and screw
on pole #4 to secure the arching arm all together.
9. Insert the end cap onto pole #4.
10. Gently pull all the electrical cable, then tighten
it up at the small tube.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other) as a feature to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never
use with an extension cord unless plug can be
fully inserted. DO NOT ALTER THE PLUG.
