Limited Warranty for Commercial Products
What Is Covere d : Epson America, Inc. ("Epson") warrants to the first end-user
customer that the EPSON Stylus Pro 9000 series ink jet printer covered by this
limited warranty statement, if purchased and given normal use in the United States
or Canada, will conform to manufacture r's specification and will be free fro m
defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of
original purchase (proof of purchase re q u i red). Epson also warrants that the
consumable ink cartridges enclosed with the printer will perf o rm to the
m a n u f a c t u re r's specified usage, which usage may expire before the expiration of
the limited warranty of the Epson Printer.
What Epson Will Do To Correct Pro b l e m s : Should your EPSON Stylus Pro 9000
series printer prove defective during the warranty period, please call the toll-fre e
s u p p o rt line identified in this booklet. This line will be answered between 6:00
and 8:00
Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, and between 7:00
P M
Pacific Time on Saturday (excluding Epson recognized holidays). Weekend hours are
subject to change without notice. When you call, please be pre p a red to pro v i d e
your Printer's Serial Number and proof of purchase. An Epson call center technician
will work with you to try to resolve the problem, and if your printer needs re p a i r,
diagnose the issue and determine what parts may be re q u i red. If hard w a re repair is
re q u i red, Epson will arrange for the service of your EPSON Stylus Pro 9000 series
p r i n t e r.
On-Site Response: If the printer needs hard w a re repair and you are within Epson's
on-site service terr i t o ry, an Epson Authorized Servicer will be contacted to make the
repair at your facility. Epson will usually dispatch repair parts and a technician to your
location for the next business day if determination that repair is re q u i red occurs prior
to 3:00
Pacific Time. If that determination is made after 3:00

weekend hours, dispatch will be for the second business day. An adult must be
available to accept the parts delivery and be present at all times while a technician is
on-site. Epson's shipment of service parts does not imply that replacement is
re q u i red. For both on-site and depot re p a i r, parts may be new or re m a n u f a c t u red to
Epson standards. Repair parts (until installed) and replaced parts are the pro p e rty of
Epson. Repair parts assume the remaining warranty period of the original pro d u c t .
