This is the only way to accurately diagnose a fever. Take multiple readings when healthy to determine normal temperature. • A child’s normal temperature can be as high as 37.7 °C (99.9 °F) or as low as 36.1 °C (97.0 °F).
- Page 5 TRI-COLOUR FEVER ALERT SYSTEM The 4 in 1 contactless thermometer has a tri-colour fever alert system, helping you to better understand what your child’s temperature means. Once the temperature has been taken, the screen will display the reading and will either turn green, amber or red*. GREEN A green screen means that the temperature taken is acceptable.

It’s therefore very important that the temperature of their surroundings are monitored to make sure that they are not too cold or too hot. You can then adapt their bedding, change their clothing or alter the temperature of their room accordingly.

While taking in-ear temperatures can be a little more accurate, contactless readings taken on the forehead are a great way of taking your child’s temperature without disturbing or distressing them. Built-in Artery Scan function uses infrared technology to ensure the most accurate contactless reading possible (when used in accordance with the below user instructions).
