Unpack
If anything is missing, contact Epson
Caution:
Do not open ink cartridge packages until you are ready to install the ink.
Cartridges are vacuum packed to maintain reliability.
Remove all protective materials.

Page 2: Install Ink Cartridges
Install ink cartridges Note: Don’t load paper before installing the ink cartridges. Lift up the printer cover. Open the cartridge cover. Shake the ink cartridges gently 4 or 5 times, then unpack them. Remove only the yellow tape from each cartridge. Caution: Don’t remove any other seals from the cartridges. -

Charging takes about 2.5 minutes. Note: Your WorkForce 1100 Series ships with full cartridges and part of the ink from the fi rst cartridges is used for priming the printer. Caution: Don’t turn off the printer while the waste ink. - Page 4 Open the output tray and pull out the extensions. Squeeze the edge guide and slide it left. Load paper against the right edge guide and behind the tab, with the printable side face up. Note: Don’t load the paper sideways; always load it short edge first. Squeeze the edge guide and slide it over.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the rest of the software and register your printer. When you’re done, remove the CD and restart your computer. You’re ready to print!
