Trust Ami Mouse Optical 1. Introduction The manual is intended for users of the Trust Ami Mouse Optical. No prior knowledge is necessary to install and use this product. If you have any questions after reading this instruction manual, please contact one of the Trust Service Centres. -

4. Installation Close all programs before installing the driver. Trust Software Installer Follow the points given below to start the Trust Installer: Turn on the computer and start Windows. If you are using Windows NT, log in as 'Administrator'. Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. -

Installing the mouse software (Windows 95, 98, NT4) Start the Trust Installer (see chapter 4.1). Select the option ‘Install Trust Ami Mouse Optical Software’ (see figure 3). Select the language you wish to use for the installation and when using the program. -

Choose to restart your computer and then click on 'Finish'. The driver has now been successfully installed. Installing the mouse software (Windows 2000) Start the Trust Installer (see chapter 4.1). Close the program if you wish to play a game using the mouse but do not wish to use the special mouse properties. To do this, right click on the icon and select 'Close Trust Ami Mouse Optical'. Trust Ami Mouse Optical Trust Ami Mouse Optical Mode: Supports all applications with a scroll bar, including Office 97 with zoom, scroll functions and auto-panning. 5.1.3 'Profile configuration' Using profile configuration, you can use, change and save three preference settings for 'Button assignment', 'Quick Access Wheel' and 'Quick Access Files'. -

Scrolling speed: Set the speed for scrolling in a document etc. Trust Dynamic Scroll Accelerated scrolling in a document when used in combination with a mouse button. Scrolling direction The direction of rotation of the mouse can be changed using this function. -

Set the speed with which the mouse moves across the monitor screen. Double Click Speed Set the speed for double clicking. Double click on the Trust icon to test the speed. Button swap Set the mouse for left-handed or right-handed use. -

Trust Ami Mouse Optical Follow the instructions below to set the mouse to the desired position in your hand or to move the mouse in a more natural position. Click on ‘Set Orientation’. Move the mouse in a straight line in the direction of the finish line until the racing car reaches the finish line. -

Click on the 'http://www.trust.com' button for more information about Trust computer products, FAQ's, new drivers, etc. 6.
