    • If the lower part of the device overheats, it could be because the connected USB cable is damaged. Replace the damaged USB cable with a new Samsung-approved one.

    Charge the battery before using it for the first time or when it has been unused for extended periods. Use only Samsung-approved battery, charger, and cable specifically designed for your device. Incompatible battery, charger, and cable can cause serious injuries or damage to your device.
  • Page 14 Basics Charging other devices Use the USB connector (USB Type-C) to charge another mobile device with your device’s battery. Plug the USB connector (USB Type-C) into your device’s multipurpose jack, and connect your device and the other device via the other device’s USB cable. When charging starts, the battery charging icon will appear on the other device’s screen.

    • If you charge the device while the multipurpose jack is wet, the device may be damaged. Thoroughly dry the multipurpose jack before charging the device. • If the device is not charging properly, take the device and the charger to a Samsung Service Centre.

    Finding your ID and resetting your password If you forget your Samsung account ID or password, tap Find ID or Reset password on the Samsung account sign-in screen. You can find your ID or reset your password after you enter the required information.

The soft buttons are set to the Recents button, Home button, and Back button by default. The functions of the buttons can change according to the app currently being used or usage environment.

    Apps and features Bixby Routines Introduction Add your repeated usage patterns as routines and use your device more conveniently. For example, a ‘before bed’ routine will perform actions, such as turning on silent mode and dark mode, to not be jarring on your eyes and ears when you use the device before going to bed.
