    ATTENTION Please observe the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. A pilot laser can be integrated into the Infrared Radiation Pyrometer KT15 II in case a lens is used which is transparent to visible light. It marks the centre of the target diame- ter for the objective which has been mounted at works. It is not possible to show the minimum target diameter with this option.

    OPERATION AND APPLICATION Configuration The Infrared Radiation Pyrometers series KT15 II can be adapted to the process by means of parameterization. The adaptation is carried out via the keyboard or via the digi- tal interface. The operation via keyboard is described in the following. The communication via inter- face is carried out analog to it.

    MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION General information The design of HEITRONICS Infrared Radiation Pyrometers provides for a long period of service without the necessity of special maintenance. It is advisable to check the display accuracy approximately every three months. Measuring errors may arise, for instance, owing to pollution of the lens. For this reason, this component should first of all be cleaned.
