Auto Door Locking/Unlocking

On LX, EX and EX-L models
Your vehicle has customizable
settings for the doors and the
tailgate to automatically lock and
unlock. Make all settings before you
start driving.
With the auto door locking and
unlocking, the tailgate also locks and
unlocks.
On Touring models

LOCK'' setting, see page

Auto Door Locking
On LX, EX and EX-L models
The auto door locking feature has
three possible settings:
The doors and the tailgate lock
when the vehicle speed reaches
9 mph (15 km/h).
This is the default setting.
The auto door locking is
deactivated all the time.
The doors and the tailgate lock
126 . whenever you move the shift lever
out of the Park position.

Door Locks
To activate an auto door lock mode:
Locks all doors and the tailgate when
the vehicle's speed reaches about 9 mph
(15 km/h).
1. Make sure the shift lever is in
Park (P), and close the driver's
door.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.
3. Set the parking brake.
