This is the preferred hookup to use if:
Your DVD player has component (Y, B-Y, R-Y) jacks.
Disconnect all power sources before making any connections.

Using three separate component video cables, connect the DVD player's
Y, B-Y and R-Y jacks to the Y, P
Use the VIDEO IN 5 or 6 connections.
The Y, B-Y and R-Y jacks on your DVD player are sometimes labeled
Y, C
and C
, or Y, P

Using an audio cable, connect the DVD player's Audio OUT jacks to
the projection TV's AUDIO IN jacks. Be sure to use the same row of
inputs that you used for the video connection (VIDEO IN 5 or 6).

    More of a question. For antenna use, is the remote required for picking up channels using the antenna connection in the back with cable selection turned off? Is a converter box needed? Good antenna pick up zero images at all vs. A more modern TV getting 10-20 clear working channels w/ same antenna device. Lost remote is obvious.
