2.1
Residual risks
The product Alco Power Fighter Manual Monitors corresponds to the technical state-of-the-art.
It was manufactured in compliance with the recognised rules of safety engineering.
Nevertheless, certain residual risks cannot be excluded when using the product.
See the description of the product-specific residual risks in chapter 2.7 "Residual risks".
There is a risk to the personal safety of the operator and the risk of damage to the product and
other material assets.
The product may only be operated in compliance with the instructions in this manual and if it is
in perfect condition.
The product must not be modified and may only be used for its intended purpose. The intended
use and foreseeable misuse are described in the chapters 1.2 "Intended use" and 1.3 "Foresee-
able misuse".

Most accidents when handling the product Alco Power Fighter Manual Monitors can be traced
back to failures to observe the fundamental safety rules.
Recognizing a potential hazard can prevent an accident before it occurs. If hazards exist, safety

carried out if the information applicable to this stage in the product life cycle has not been read
and understood.
The operator is responsible for the product's safe operation.
The product may not be used in any way that deviates from the observations in this manual. All
the safety rules and protective measures regarding usage that are applicable at the operation
site must be observed, including site-related rules and protective measures at the work place.
If working materials are used or an action, working method or working technique deployed that
is not expressly suggested by AWG Fittings GmbH, the user or operator concerned is respon-
sible for ensuring their own and other people's safety.
It must also be ensured that the procuct is not damaged or made unsafe through the intended
work relating to transportation, assembly, commissioning, operation or maintenance.

edge that was available at the time the manual was prepared.
