● E OS Ra は EOS R の ｢ 天体仕様カメラ ｣ です。 このカメラの
H α線 （656nm）の透過率は、 EOS R と比較して約 4 倍に
なっています。そのため、赤外反射光の多い被写体を撮影し
たときは、実際より赤みがかった撮影画像になります。また、
適切なカラーバランスが得られないことや、部分的な色ムラ
が発生することがあるため、 一般的な被写体の撮影はおすす
めできません。
● 操 作 方法は 基 本 的に EOS R と共 通です。付属 の 「EOS R
使用説明書」 （冊子）を参照してください。キヤノンのホーム
ページから 「EOS R 詳細ガイド」 （PDF ファイル）をダウン
ロードすることもできます。
使用方法に関するご注意
● 撮 影を行う前にキヤノンのホームページで EOS Ra の最新情報を
確認してください。
● 映 像を拡 大表 示したときは、約 1 倍、約 5 倍、約 30 倍 の順に
表示が切り換わります （EOS R と最大表示倍率が異なります） 。
● オ ートフォーカス （AF）でピントを合わせたときは、映像を拡大
表示して確認することをおすすめします。
● 映 像を拡大表示してマニュアルフォーカス （MF）でピント合わせ
を行うと、より厳密なピント合わせを行うことができます。
● ［85 ： 電源オフ時のレンズ収納］を ［しない］に設定しても、使用レンズ
によっては、 電源スイッチを < 2 > → < 1 > にしたときに、 自動
的にフォーカスリセット （収納→繰り出し）動作が行われることが
あります。フォーカスリセット動作が行われたときは、再度ピント
確認を行ってから撮影してください。
● 長 時間露光、高 ISO 感度で撮影を行うと、撮影条件により色ム
ラが発生することがあります。
● バ ルブ撮影 （露光）中にズーム操作を行うと、ピントがズレること
があります。露光中にズーム操作を行うときは、 ［BULB］以外の
撮影モードで行ってください。
● バ ルブ撮影 （露光）中は、レンズのフォーカスリングを回しても、
ピント操作ができないことがあります。 露光中にピント操作を行う
ときは、 ［BULB］以外の撮影モードで行ってください。
● 長 時間露光を行う前にしばらくの間、電源が入った状態で待機し
たり、動画撮影を行ったりすると、撮像素子の発熱により、撮影
画像のノイズが増加することがあります。
● 長 時間露光を行ったり繰り返し撮影を行うと、 ノイズが増加します。
● 試 し撮りを行って、あらかじめノイズの増加具合を確認することを
おすすめします。
● バ ルブ撮 影が主体となるため、バッテリーの消費量が増えます。
予備のバッテリーを携行することをおすすめします。また、家庭用
電源が利用できるときは、AC アダプター AC-E6 と DC カプラー
DR-E6 の 使 用をおすすめします。なお、フル充電のバッテリー
パック LP-E6N 使用時の連続バルブ撮影可能時間は、約 7 時間
30 分 （常温：＋ 23℃）です。
● 望 遠鏡を使用するときは、 ［ 85 ： レンズなしレリーズ］を ［する］に設定
してください。
● ソ フトウェアは EOS R と同じものが使用できます。ソフトウェア
については、 「EOS R 使用説明書」 （冊子）または 「EOS R 詳細
ガイド」 （PDF ファイル）を参照してください。

Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.
● The EOS Ra is a version of the EOS R designed for
astrophotography. This camera has approximately four
times the transmittance of hydrogen-alpha light (656 nm)
as the EOS R. Photographs of subjects that refl ect a lot of
infrared light will therefore appear redder than they actually
are. Also, as it may not be possible to obtain an appropriate
color balance or uneven colors may result, shooting normal
subjects with this camera is not recommended.
● Camera operations are essentially the same as for the
EOS R. Refer to the included EOS R Instruction Manual
(booklet). Additionally, you can download the EOS R
Advanced User Guide (PDF fi le) from the Canon website.
Usage Precautions
● Before shooting, check for any EOS Ra news on the Canon
website.
● Display in magnifi ed view switches from approx. 1× to 5× to 30×,
which differs from maximum magnifi ed view on the EOS R.
● When using autofocus (AF) to focus, consider using magnifi ed
view to check the image.
● More exact focusing is possible by using magnifi ed view with
manual focus (MF).
● Even if [85: Retract lens on power off] is set to [Disable], focus
reset operation (lens retraction followed by extension) may occur
automatically when the power switch is changed from <2>
to <1>, depending on the lens used. If focus reset operation
occurs, recheck the focus before shooting.
● Irregular colors may occur under some shooting conditions in long
exposures and at high ISO speeds.
● Zooming during bulb exposures may cause a loss of focus. Use a
shooting mode other than [BULB] if you will zoom during exposure.
● Focus may not be adjustable during bulb exposures, even by
turning the lens focusing ring. Use a shooting mode other than
[BULB] if you will adjust the focus during exposure.
● Noise in your shots may increase due to image sensor heat if, for
some time before shooting long exposures, you record movies or
leave the camera in standby.
● Noise will increase when taking a long exposure, or shooting
repeatedly.
● It is recommended that you take some test shots to check in
advance how noise increases in the image.
● Battery consumption increases when you mainly shoot bulb
exposures. Carrying a spare battery is recommended. If household
power is available, consider using AC Adapter AC-E6N and DC
Coupler DR-E6. Note that continuous bulb exposure shooting for
approx. 7 hr. 30 min. is possible with a fully charged Battery Pack
LP-E6N at room temperature (23°C / 73°F).
● When using a telescope, set [85: Release shutter without lens]
to [Enable].
● You can use the same software as for the EOS R. For details, refer
to the EOS R Instruction Manual (booklet) or EOS R Advanced
User Guide (PDF fi le).

● L'EOS Ra est une version de l'EOS R conçue pour
l'astrophotographie. Cet appareil photo a environ quatre
fois la transmission de lumière hydrogène alpha (656 nm) de
l'EOS R. Par conséquent, les photos de sujets réfl échissant
beaucoup de lumière infrarouge apparaîtront plus rouges
qu'en réalité. Par ailleurs, étant donné qu'il peut s'avérer
impossible d'obtenir une balance des couleurs correcte ou
que des couleurs irrégulières peuvent se produire, il est
déconseillé de photographier des sujets ordinaires avec
cet appareil photo.
● Cet appareil photo s'utilise pratiquement de la même façon que
l'EOS R. Reportez-vous au mode d'emploi de l'EOS R inclus
(livret). De plus, vous pouvez télécharger le Guide d'utilisateur
avancé (fi chier PDF) de l'EOS R du site Web de Canon.
Précautions d'utilisation
● Avant la prise de vue, vérifi ez les nouveautés sur l'EOS Ra sur le
site Web de Canon.
● L'affi chage en vue agrandie passe d'environ 1× à 5× à 30×, ce qui
diffère de la vue agrandie maximale sur l'EOS R.
● Lors de l'utilisation de l'autofocus (AF) pour faire la mise au point,
pensez à utiliser la vue agrandie pour vérifi er l'image.
● Une mise au point plus précise est possible grâce à la vue
agrandie avec la mise au point manuelle (MF).
● Même si [85 : Objectif rétracte si extinction] est réglé sur
[Désactiver], la mise au point peut être automatiquement
réinitialisée (rétraction de l'objectif suivie de son extension) lorsque
vous déplacez le commutateur d'alimentation de <2> à <1>,
selon l'objectif utilisé. Si la mise au point est automatiquement
réinitialisée, vérifi ez à nouveau la mise au point avant la prise de
vue.
● Des couleurs irrégulières peuvent se produire dans certaines
conditions de prise de vue dans des poses longues et à des
sensibilités ISO élevées.
