Setting up a WLAN network

While assigning static IP addresses to the devices in your home network and
entering the addresses manually can have advantages, a change to the
subnet mask may result in the configuration interface of your Wireless
extender becoming inaccessible. We therefore recommend retaining the
default setting as a DHCP client. If you would like to configure the adapter by
entering its IP address directly in the address line of your browser, you can
determine its IP number by selecting Start

adapter in devolo Informer and selecting the Status and Management
menu item.
We also urgently recommend securing your wireless network against
intruders. For more information, read the following section.
