Installing the RTU Open

To install the RTU Open:

Mount the controller (page 6).

Wire the controller for power (page 7).
To use the rooftop equipment control power transformer (page 8).
To use an auxiliary control power transformer (page 9).

Set the controller's address (page 11).

Set the protocol and baud rate (page 11).

Wire to the BACnet MS/TP or BACnet ARC156 network (page 12, page 12).

Wire inputs and outputs (page 13).

Wire sensors to the controller (page 20).

Field-supplied hardware

An RTU Open retrofit installation may require the following field-supplied components:

transformer – 24 Vac, 20 VA minimum
