Troubleshooting

Can't find Acer G781 on the Win-
dows® 2000/ 98/95 monitor lists.
You need to update the Windows® 2000, Win-
dows® 98 or Windows® 95 setup information
for your Acer G781. You can download the
updated file from the web site
(http://www.acercm.com.tw)
There is no picture on the screen.
Check:
Video sync signal. The video sync signal
must be specified for the monitor.
Power saving mode. Press any key and
move the mouse to deactivate the mode.
Signal cable connector pins. If there are bent
or missing pins, consult your place of pur-
chase.
The picture is scrolling or unstable.
Check:
Signal connector pin assignments. Replace
with a correct one if they are not operative.

Graphics card. See if the settings are made
properly.
Scanning frequency. Change the settings of
your graphics card to acceptable options.
Remove magnetic objects near the monitor.

Vérifiez :
Le signal de synchronisation vidéo. Ce signal
doit être spécifié pour le moniteur.
Le mode d'économie d'énergie. Appuyez sur
une touche et déplacez la souris pour désac-
tiver ce mode.
Les broches de connexion du câble vidéo. Si
elles sont recourbées ou s'il en manque,
consultez votre revendeur.
L'image défile ou n'est pas stable.
Vérifiez :
Les assignations des broches du connecteur
vidéo. Remplacez celles qui ne fonctionnent
pas par des assignations correctes.
La carte vidéo. Vérifiez que les paramètres
sont définis correctement.
La fréquence de balayage. Modifiez les para-
mètres de la carte vidéo pour choisir des
options acceptables.
Eloignez les objets magnétiques du moniteur.

Prüfen Sie:

Stromsparmodus. Drücken Sie eine beliebige
Taste, und bewegen Sie die Maus, um den
Modus zu deaktivieren.
Signalkabelstifte. Wenn Stifte (Pins) verbo-
gen sind oder fehlen, wenden Sie sich an
Ihren Händler.
Das Bild läuft durch oder ist
unbeständig.
Prüfen Sie:
Stiftbelegung des Signalanschlusses.
Ersetzen Sie sie durch eine korrekte Bele-
gung, wenn die Stifte nicht funktionsfähig
sind.
Signalkabelstifte. Wenn Stifte (Pins) verbo-
gen sind oder fehlen, wenden Sie sich an
Ihren Händler.
Videokarte. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Einstel-
lungen korrekt sind.
Abtastfrequenz. Ändern Sie Ihre Grafikein-
stellungen in zulässige Werte.
Entfernen Sie magnetische Objekte aus der
Nähe des Monitors.
