If you purchased this kit to share your high speed Internet connection
with your laptop and other computers, you must have either an
Ethernet-based Cable or DSL modem with an established Internet
account from an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Installing the DWL-650+
Section 2 of this Installation Guide will walk you through the installa-
tion of the DWL-650+ on your laptop computer. Once the DWL-650+
is installed you will be able to communicate with other 802.11b
devices on your network.
You must have at least the following to use the DWL-650+:
- A laptop computer with an available 32-bit Cardbus slot
- At least a 300MHz processor and 32MB of memory
- Cardbus Controller properly installed and working in the laptop
computer
Installing the DI-614+
Section 3 of this Installation Guide will walk you through the installa-
tion and configuration of the DI-614+ as a Wireless Router to allow
you to access other 802.11b networked computers and the Internet.
You must have at least the following to configure the DI-614+:
- Internet Explorer 6.x or later
- Netscape Navigator 6.x or later
