Image Preset Mode: selects one
of five preset groups of settings
for the next image enhancement
options
Noise Reduction: reduces
flickering in analog images
MPEG Noise Reduction:
reduces the noise or artifacts
seen in MPEG video
Super-resolution: sharpens
blurred images resulting from
increasing resolution
• Fine Line Adjustment:
enhances the contrast and
outlines of complicated images
• Soft Focus Detail: enhances
the contrast and outlines of
smooth backgrounds
Detail Enhancement: enhances
details to create clear outlines
• Range: higher settings
increase the affected area
around the outline
• Strength: higher settings
create a stronger effect

options vary based on the Image
Preset Mode setting.
