    MANUALE DI INSTALLAZIONE, USO E MANUTENZIONE ATTUATORE PNEUMATICO “DA08” 1) CARATTERISTICHE GENERALI OMAL S.p.A. produce una vasta gamma di attuatori pneumatici per l’azionamento e il controllo remoto di valvole. - L’applicazione di un attuatore si basa sul principio di aprire e chiudere la valvola ad esso connessa, senza operazioni manuali realizzate tramite leve o volantini, ma attraverso un comando a distanza elettro-pneu- matico.

Le guide dei pistoni sono in resina acetalica. L’uso di bussole in acciaio sul sistema a Scotch yoke riducono i giochi e danno un scorrimento con attriti molto bassi durante il funzionamento.

Nel caso il montaggio diretto non sia possibile, a causa di piccole differenze fra le flange e/o gli alberi di attuatore e valvola, è possibile effettuare la connessione con una piastra di collegamento di facile posi- zionamento e di dimensioni opportune.

Verificare che l’attuatore non sia pressurizzato. Con- trollare che le porte 2 e 4 siano libere.

    INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR “DA08” 1) FEATURES OMAL S.p.A. produces a wide range of pneumatic actuators for valve drive and remote control. - The use of an actuator is based on the principle of opening and closing the valve connected to it, without manual operations by means of levers or hand-wheels, but through an electro-pneumatic remote com- mand.

The guides of the pistons are made of acetal resin. The use of steel bushes on the Scotch yoke system reduce backlash and confer very low friction sliding during operation.

This provides the maximum torque at the beginning of valve opening, for valves that close in counter-clockwise direction.

Where, for technical installation reasons and due to the system, a certain distance is required between the valve and actuator, or the flanges and the valve stem are not standard, or where direct installation is not possible, the right solution is given by a bracket and a connecting joint.

Verify that there is no pressure in the actuator. Check that the ports 2 and 4 are free.
