Before each use of the robot vacuum cleaner, check both the va-
cuum cleaner and all of the accessories supplied with it for any vis-
ible signs of damage. Do not use a damaged robot vacuum cleaner
or accessory.
The power socket for connecting the base station must be fitted
with a 16 A or 10 A fuse.
AUS/NZ: The mains electrical outlet must be fitted with an appro-
priate circuit breaker.
Compare the connection data on the data plate of the robot va-
cuum cleaner and the power supply unit (mains voltage and fre-
quency) with that of the mains electricity supply. This data must
match exactly.
Store the robot vacuum cleaner at an ambient temperature
between 0 °C and 60 °C.
While the robot vacuum cleaner is under warranty, repairs should
only be undertaken by a Miele authorised service technician. Other-
wise the warranty will be invalidated.
Repairs should only be carried out by a Miele authorised service
technician. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons can cause
considerable danger to users.
Ensure that you do not damage the power supply cable and avoid
mechanical stress. Do not place heavy objects on the power supply
cable.
The robot vacuum cleaner is fitted with sensors to detect steps
and drops in height. Do not cover these sensors or the camera, and
ensure that the function of the sensors is not hindered by obstacles
whilst the cleaner is moving.
Do not let the robot vacuum cleaner travel over the mains cable or
other cables.
