Power failure w (
Fig. 14)
• If the monitoring interface detects a power failure, at least 80% of the stored
energy will still remain. This energy can be used to safely bring the application to
a standstill.
• Please note that by shutting down the application, under certain circumstances,
more energy will become available which will lead to the DC link voltage rising.
• If the DC link voltage rises enough, the energy will be used to recharge the energy
storage. If the energy supply is charged so far that the energy returns to the per-
missible tolerance range for standby mode, this will lead to a high signal on termi-
nal "6", which could be incorrectly interpreted as the main power supply returning.
Check whether the power has failed.
Energy storage solution not working correctly e (
If there is a low signal on terminal "6" although
• the Energy storage solution has been operating for a long time (i.e. is charged up) and
• the power has not failed
then the Energy storage solution is faulty.
Immediately contact the manufacturer to decide what to do next.
