The appliance may only be connected by a
qualified electrician. Confirmation of profes-
sional connection must be provided on the
page of the "Technical data" as proof for the
warranty.
On installation and when service work is being
carried out the appliance must be disconnected
from the power supply, safety fuses must be
switched off or screwed out or the mains plug
must be disconnected.
General guidelines for the operation of electric
appliances, the regulations of the public utility
responsible and the instructions contained in
these installation instructions are to be closely
observed.
Full protection against accidental contact must
be ensured on installation.
Should the connection cable need to be
replaced, the earthed conductor must be suffi-
ciently long so that if the strain relief fails the live
wires of the connecting cable are subjected to
tension before the earth wire.
The built-in unit must be installed and attached
in such a manner that it does not tilt.

Installation dimensions

The opening in the unit must tally with the other
dimensions. The illustration on dimensions gives you
the information you require.

The appliance is supplied ready to plug in. It
should be connected only to a properly pro-
tected wall socket. Installing and wiring a socket
or replacing the connection cable should only
be performed by an electrician and in observ-
ance of the relevant regulations. If the socket is
inaccessible after the installation, safety regula-
tions require that an all-pole isolator with a con-
tact opening of at least 3 mm be used on the
installation side.
The socket for plugging in the unit must be out-
side the installation space.
If you install the appliance flush-left into the cor-
ner of an L-shaped divided kitchen, you must
maintain a distance of at least 15 cm to the left
or the corner!
Built-in kitchen fixtures must be temperature
resistant up to 100 °C. This applies particularly
to veneers, plastic coatings, adhesives, paint
and varnishes. Adjacent cabinetry front must be
temperature resistant to at least 70 °C.
Make sure that the appliance is installed hori-
zontally on a firm, level base which will not cave
in.
