Problems During Power-up and Reset

Certain conditions can prevent the module from powering up and becoming operational or
entering firmware update mode:

Invalid bootstrap image

Transitioning to Firmware Update Mode

The module transitions to firmware update mode for any of the following reasons:

Special LED Blink Patterns

In addition to the LED blink patterns that indicate a fatal error, the PNC001's LEDs can
indicate module location/identification and microprocessor overtemperature conditions,
as described below.
Special LED Blink Patterns are not supported by RSTi-EP CPE100/CPE115 embedded
PROFINET Controller.
Diagnostics

All LEDs off. Module unresponsive.
No LEDs turn on and the module is
