If the New Hardware Found window appears
3b.
Select [Driver from disk provided by
hardware manufacturer], and then click
[OK].
4b.
Insert the printer-driver floppy disk into
your computer's floppy-disk drive, and
then click [OK].
This screen displays the Add Printer Wizard win-
dow.
• The Copy manufacturer's files from field must
show the name of the drive in which the driver
disk is inserted. If the wrong name appears,
you need to change it before clicking [OK].
You can change it either by keying in the cor-
rect name or by clicking
name from the drop-down menu.
Continue installation from Step 5 on
page 6.
What to Do If You Made an Incorrect Choice
at the New Hardware Found Window
• If you chose [Select from a list of alternate driv-
ers] + [OK]: Click [Cancel] at the next dialog.
This returns you to the New Hardware Found
window. Proceed from Step 3b above.
• If you chose [Do not install a driver] + [OK]:
Install the driver using the procedure given on
page 9 (the procedure you use if the "New
hardware has been detected..." message does
not appear).
• If you clicked [Cancel]: Close Windows, switch
off the printer, and start again from Step 1 on
page 5.

• Le champ [Copie des fichiers du fabricant de]
doit montrer le nom du lecteur dans lequel la
disquette du pilote est insérée. Si un mauvais
nom apparaît, vous devez le changer avant de
cliquez sur [OK]. Vous pouvez le changer en
tapant le nom correct ou en cliquant sur
et en choisissant le nom à partir du menu
déroulant.
Continuez l'installation à partir de
l'étape 5 de la page 6.
Que faire si vous avez fait un mauvais choix
dans la fenêtre Nouveau matériel trouvé.
• Si vous choisissez [Sélection à partir d'une liste
des pilotes possibles] + [OK]: Cliquez sur [Annuler]
dans la boîte de dialogue suivante. Cela vous
ramène à la fenêtre Nouveau matériel trouvé.
Continuez à partir de l'étape 3b ci-dessus.
• Si vous choisissez [Ne pas installer le pilote] +
[OK]: Installez le pilote avec la procédure
donnée à page 9 (la procédure utilisée si le
message "Nouveau matériel" n'apparaît pas).
• Si vous cliquez sur [Annuler]: Fermez Windows,
mettez I'imprimante nors tersion et
recommencez à partir de l'étape 1 de la page 5.
