Loading a Stack of Paper

These steps show how to load a stack of plain paper and test your printer.
In the next chapter, you'll learn how to print on different types of print
media.
You can stack about 30 sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder.
1. Make sure the paper support is open and the paper guide is in the
leftmost position.
2. Fan the paper.
For best results, fan the paper before loading it.
Always fan a stack of paper along the edge that will feed into the
printer first.
