Aligning the Print Head
When you replace an old BJ cartridge for a new one, you need to align the print head
position of the BJ cartridge before printing.
Follow this procedure to align the print head:

Press Function.

Press Cleaning.
Use d or u to select ALIGN PRINT HEAD.

Press Set twice.
• The MultiPASS prints the HS pattern.
(1 sample below)

Press Set again.
For the printed B1 pattern, use d or u

to enter the value above the perfectly
aligned lines.

Press Set.
For the printed B2 pattern, use d or u

to enter the value above the perfectly
aligned lines.
