Formatting Memory Cards

You should use this camera to format a new memory card, or a memory card
that has been used with other devices, before using it. Formatting a memory
card erases all data on the memory card. You cannot retrieve the erased
data. Execute adequate caution before formatting a memory card.
Display the menu.
● Press the · button.
Select [Format].
● Press the qr buttons to select the 3 tab.
Press the op buttons to select [Format],

then press the m button.
Format the memory card.
● Press the qr buttons to select [OK], then
press the m button.
The memory card will be formatted.
When formatting has finished, the screen
will return to the menu display.
