About Processing Parameters

The processing parameters consist of the Tone Curve, Sharpness, and JPEG Quality. With the
driver software, you can set each of these parameters as desired and register them as a
custom set of processing parameters. You can set and register up to three custom sets of
processing parameters. For details, see the separate "EOS-1D Software Instructions."
Up to three parameter sets can be registered.
Parameter
Tone
Adjusts the image brightness
Curve
and color properties.
Adjusts the sharpness level.
Sharpness Level
Selects the pattern type to be
sharpened.

Sets the image quality of the
(Fine) mode.
JPEG Quality
Sets the image quality of the
(Normal) mode.
The tone curve can be set.
The sharpness level and pattern
sharpness can be set to one of
five levels.
