THE TIMER FUNCTION

The "Timer " submenu
Note:
In the "Timer" submenu you may programme all data required for the pro-
grammed recording with GRUNDIG video recorders and certain recorders
of other manufactures.
Condition for this is that the video recorder used is provided with the function
"Recordings controlled from external devices" (Record prepare).
For video recorders without "Record prepare" feature the video recorder and
the timer of the receiver must be programmed to the same time.
When programming the timer data for the satellite receiver and the video
recorder, set the start time slightly before the beginning of the programme
and the end time slightly after the end of the programme. In doing this, the
programme will be completely recorded even if there should be a time shift
of the programme.
