Preparing to Start the Pump PRIMING Never run pump against closed discharge. To do so can boil water inside pump, causing hazardous pressure in unit, risk of explosion and possibly scalding persons handling pump. Fill pump and piping Never run pump dry. Running pump without water may cause through pump to overheat, damaging seal and possibly causing burns to persons priming tee. -

Tank System The tank is shipped pre-charged to 40 PSI. To Household Before starting the system, check precharge with an air pressure gauge.
