Step 5: (Fig. 5)
1. Slide the spreader impeller (9) onto the spreader shaft
and secure it with a 1/8" x 1-1/2" cotter pin (30).

Step 6: (Fig. 6)
1. Place the hopper on the hopper support tubes, inserting
the spreader shaft through the square hole in the
bottom of the hopper.
2. Slide the hopper bushing (39) onto the spreader shaft
and insert it into the bottom of the hopper.
3. Slide the spacer (25) onto the spreader shaft.
4. Install the agitator hairpin (31) in the spreader shaft.

Step 7: (Fig. 7)
1. Attach the hopper to the lower set of holes in the
hopper support tubes using four 1/4" x 1-3/4" hex bolts
(23), 1/4" washers (34), nylon washers (33) and 1/4"
nylock nuts (32). Tighten.

Step 8: (Fig. 8)
1. Install the grip (42) onto the flow control arm.
2. Assemble the adjustable stop (44) to the flow control
bracket using the 1/4" x 3/4" carriage bolt (24), nylon
washer (33) and wing nut (43). Tighten.
