SECURITY MEASURES The 14000 Trailer is a piece of equipment relatively simple to use, but, like any other implement or agricultural machinery, it is necessary to take precautionary safety measures, to avoid accidents: Verify that the trailer and tractor are in good working conditions. - Scan the area around the implement and tractor, before performing any maneuvers, so as to not hurt or damage personnel, animals or obstacles.
• Bathe metallic parts with oil immediately after using the implement. • Touch-up the paint job, thus avoiding corrosion on metallic parts. NOTE: The 14000 Trailer was designed in such a way the its components will not impregnate with product residue, for all its parameters are bent outward or downward.
6 - FIELD ASSEMBLY The 14000 Trailer leaves the factory with some of its sub-assemblies already assembled, but, to facilitate transporting, the larger sub-assemblies are assembled at the dealership or directly at the customer’s site. To facilitate assembly, a logical order should be followed, as shown below: 6.1 - Mounting the Wheels to the Wheel Axle...
Support Stands CHASSIS Rear Wheel Axle Front Wheel Steering Axle Figure 05 Note: When dealing with mounting tires 9.00”x20.00” or 10.00x20.00, it is required that they be mounted first to the road-wheel axles and also the support stands to adjust the chassis height. 6.3 - Mounting the Hitch/Goose-neck When mounting the...
6.4 - Mounting Auxiliary Accessories After installing the axles and road-wheels onto the chassis, you are now ready to mount a set of auxiliary components which are: A - Reservoir Braces D - Reservoir Central Supports B - Ladder E - Telescopic Support C - Central Brace Figure 07...
6.5 - Reservoir Installation Install and fit the polyethylene reservoirs, as shown on figure 08. ATTENTION! The reservoirs should be installed with care, to avoid scratches or cracking, these tanks will not endure violent shocks or hard knocks. These reservoirs are only fitted into the chassis, without any bolting or any hold-downs.
6.6 - Mounting the Protective Screens, Above-box and the Enclosure Center Joint Before mounting the above-box it is necessary to install the protective screens. This way you will have greater accessibility while moving on the screens, and also when installing the above-box and the enclosure center joint. Initially, install the screen hold-downs onto the protective screens, then mount them onto the reservoir upper edges, do so in a manner which the screen hold-down tubes will lodge into the reservoir’s edges, with the screen slightly...

6.7.3 - Mounting the Conveyor Screw Install the conveyor screw assembly onto the supports, next mount to the funnel, adjust as needed and tighten all funnel hardware as per figures 13 and 14. Figure 13 Figure 14 6.8 - Mounting the Conv. Screw, Tension Cable and Telescopic Tube The Conv.
6.9 - Mounting the Hydraulic System Normally, the conveyor screw’s hydraulic motor is driven by the tractor’s hydraulic system. In this case, the circuit is mounted on the 14000 Trailer as shown on fig.16, thus leaving the quick-disconnects, pressure connections and the return ready to hook-up to the tractor’s hydraulic controls.
6.10 - Installing the Independent Hydraulic System The installation of the independent hydraulic system components is done on the front side of the chassis, above the hitch, as shown on fig. 17. Begin by mounting the hydraulic tank (A), along with the hydraulic pump, on the support fixed on the frontal side of the chassis.
Figure 18 6.12 - Installation of the Rear Hydraulic Braking System (optional) To install the braking system of the 14000 TRAILER, you must remove the rear wheels, and mount the left and right brake drums along with its components. Re-mount the wheels and hook-up the hydraulic hoses, next mount the hydraulic controls next to the tractor’s seat, usually to the right of the operator.
BRAKE HOSES Figure 19 7 - TRACTOR HOOK-UP The 14000 TRAILER is attached to the tractor by the traction bar and the locking-pin. IMPORTANT! Do not forget to install the locking-pin on the hook-up pin, see figure 20. To finalize the hook-up, connect the tractor’s hydraulic system circuit hoses.
Figure 22 8 - Convoy Hook-up As an option on the 14000 TRAILER additional trailers of the same family can be hooked-up as a convoy, likewise on the other TRAILERS like the 14000 TS and the 6000 TS. To apply this option, it is required to have a Convoy Hook-up Kit, which matches your hitch type and all applicable hydraulic hose extensions, which will connect the trailer’s hydraulic system with the tractor’s hydraulic controls.
350 mm conveyor screw. The 14000 TRAILER’s 250mm output tube can be placed in various positions, thus allowing for the loading of product stored in bulk (fertilizer and grains), located in front and rear tanks, starting from ground level.
Figure 24 9.3 - Use and Cautions of the Hydraulic System A) For proper operation and durability of the hydraulic motor, when working with the 250mm conveyor screw, and being hooked-up to the tractor, certain precautions should be adhered to, such as: - Use clean hydraulic oil;...
