    3. Ceiling Fan Assembly M5 x 14mm FLANGE HEAD BLADE SCREWS (2 per blade) Position the fan motor assembly upside down in preparation for mounting the three fan blades . HOUSING NOTCHED SWITCH ASSEMBLY Rotate the notched switch assembly to expose the holes for blade assembly (Figure 1) .

    4. How to Hang Your Ceiling Fan CAUTION CEILING To reduce the risk of injury, install the fan so that the blades are at least 7 ft. (2.1m) above the floor (Figure 11). WARNING The outlet box and joist must be securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 50 lbs.

Final Installation 6.1: Installation of Ceiling Cover For INSTALL SCREW Close-to-the-Ceiling AND LOCKWASHER TIGHTEN CEILING NOTE: When installing the ceiling fan using the SCREW COVER close-to-the-ceiling method, carefully lift the fan assembly from the hook on the hanger bracket and proceed as follows.

    7. Installing the Wall Control Determine the “HOT” Wire and the “LOAD” Wire and WARNING disconnect these Wires from the Existing Wall Switch . Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To avoid NOTE: Do not attempt to disconnect any Wires not possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned already connected to Existing Wall Switch.
