Handling methods for alarms/warnings

Remove the cause of the alarm and warning in accordance with this section.

[61_Overcurrent]

• A current higher than the permissible current flowed in the converter unit.
Cause
1.
The combination of AC reactor and converter unit
is incorrect.
2.
The instantaneous maximum rating of the
converter unit has been exceeded.
3.
The power supply capacity is insufficient.
4.
The phase balance of the input power supply
voltage is poor.
5.
There is a problem with the surrounding
environment.
6.
The converter unit has malfunctioned.

[62_Frequency error]

• The input power supply frequency has exceeded the permissible range.
Cause
1.
The main circuit power supply is not turned on.
2.
The input power supply frequency has exceeded
the specification range.
3.
The power supply voltage during operation is
unstable.
4.
There is a problem with the surrounding
environment.
5.
The converter unit has malfunctioned.

[66_Process error]

• The process did not complete within the specified time.
Cause
1.
There is a problem with the surrounding
environment.
2.
The converter unit has malfunctioned.
Check/action method
Check that the connected AC reactor is the correct combination.
Refer to the following for AC reactors.
Page 95 AC reactor
Check that the sum total of the instantaneous values of the servo motor outputs of
the drive units and servo amplifiers connected to the converter unit does not exceed
the instantaneous maximum rating of the converter unit.
Check if the specified power supply capacity is satisfied.
Check that the potential difference in the input power supply voltage is less than the
specified value.
200 V class: 10 V
400 V class: 20 V
Check the power supply for noise. If there is noise, take countermeasures to reduce
the noise.
For noise reduction techniques, refer to the following.
Page 96 Noise reduction techniques
Replace the converter unit, then check the repeatability.
Check/action method
Turn on the main circuit power supply.
Check that the normal power supply voltage waveform does not deviate beyond 50
Hz ±3 % or 60 Hz ±3 %.
Measure the power supply voltage during acceleration/deceleration of the servo
motor.
Check the power supply for noise. If there is noise, take countermeasures to reduce
the noise.
