Troubleshooting
Fault
The engine does not crank.
The electric starter motor does
not crank
The engine does no start.
The engine starts but then stops.
The engine overheats.
Cause
Seized crankshaft.
Seized cylinder, piston, etc.
Seized transmission assembly.
The fusible of starter relay is fuse
Battery is discharged
Motorcycle has been inactive for a long time.
Spark plug dirty or wet.
Engine flooded.
Incorrect air/fuel mixture
Exhaust valve opened.
Incorrect air supply.
No fuel.
Insufficient coolant.
Radiator is dirty or partially restricted.

Remove the seat and check the fusible
Remove the seat and check the battery voltage
Unload the old fuel from the tank. When the
tank is filled with the new fuel, the engine will
start immediately.
Clean or dry the spark plug. If necessary, replace
it.
To unflood the engine, close the fuel tap, remove
the spark plug, then put a gear and push the bike
several feet with the throttle fully open.
Visually you will know when the pre-compression
pan is empty. Mount the spark plug and start
the bike. You may have to remove the spark plug
again if the operation was not enough, the spark
plug will get wet and must be cleaned. Repeat the
pushing, mount the spark plug and the engine will
start.
DANGER
For your safety should wrap the spark plug cap
with a dry cloth. This is to prevent possible spark.
Clean the fuel tank breather.
Clean the air filter.
Verify and correct the exhaust valve.
Close the starter. Clean fuel tank air vent. Adjust
the air cleaner duct.
Fill up the fuel tank.
Fill up coolant, verify the refrigeration system
watertightness.
Clean radiator fins or replace it.
