b) Before Operation

• Always switch on the transmitter first and then connect the helicopter flight battery to the flight controller at once. This
is the only way for a frequency check (binding) to take place between transmitter and receiver, so that your model will
react reliably to the control commands of your transmitter.
• Check the functional reliability of your model and of the remote control system. Watch out for any visible damage
such as defective plug connections or damaged cables. All moving parts of the model must run smoothly but should
not have any play in their bearings.
• Charge the flight battery, which is necessary for operation, as well as the rechargeable battery that may be inserted
in the remote control according the manufacturer's instructions.
• As power source for the plug-in mains adapter, use a 230V/50 Hz mains socket of the public mains only. Never try to
operate the device using any other voltage.
• If batteries are used as a transmitter power supply, make sure that they have sufficient remaining capacity (battery
checker). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never individual cells only.
• Before each operation, check the settings of the trim button on the transmitter for the different steering directions
and, if necessary, adjust them.

c) During Operation

• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your environment is solely down to
you being responsible when dealing with the model.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Therefore, make sure that there is a sufficient
safety distance to any persons, animals or objects during operation.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. The influence of tiredness, alcohol or medication can
cause incorrect responses.
• Motors, motor regulator and flight battery can heat during operation. Therefore, take a break of 5 to 10 minutes
before re-charging the flight battery or before flying with a possibly available spare flight battery. Especially the
engines must cool down to room or ambient temperature.
• Never switch off the remote control (transmitter) while the model is in use. After landing, always disconnect the flight
battery from the flight controller first. It is only after this that the remote control may be turned off.
• Never switch off the transmitter during operation before disconnecting the flight battery from the flight controller.
• Never expose your model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for an extended period of time.
