The Uniprise Solutions
front or rear accessible patch panel assembly. The panel is available in a straight or angled version. When
properly grounded and installed with HFTP outlets, modular patch cords, and cables, it is an integral part of an
FTP connectivity system. The panel mounts in a standard 19-inch (483mm) equipment rack with universal hole
spacing and incorporates lugs for panel grounding.

Attach cable bar to panel as shown. For 48-port panels, two cable bars are provided. Step 3 –Populate Panel with Outlets and Connect Ground 24-Port Panel Ground 1.
- Page 4 860528421 www.commscope.com Instruction Sheet 4. For 48-port panels, use two of the four grounding lug connections provided on rear of panel and hex nut with lock washer, as shown, to ground the panel per approved local practices. Tighten hex nut from 10 to 13 in-lbs (1.1 to 1.5 Nm).
- Page 5 860528421 Issue 4, June 2014 Step 5 –To Remove an Outlet from Panel Flat-blade screwdriver Locking tabs 1. Insert a small, flat-blade screwdriver or other small, blunt-end tool in between locking tab and side of outlet as shown to release it. Disengaging one tab will release outlet.
